 Jeff  completely transformed our little 1955 Cape Cod into a thing of beauty inside and out. He rebuilt closets, replaced windows and doors, totally rebuilt the bathroom and kitchen, built stairs to the attic, supervised the laying of tile and hardwood floors and stuccoing and shingling the exterior, and rebuilt the fireplace and painted the interior. We are delighted with the results. It’s like a new house! Jeff works methodically and carefully and doesn’t cut corners. He is easy to work with and gives good advice based on years of experience. He is knowledgeable, and very honest when it comes to giving you the appropriate course of  action you need to take with your project. Having been raised in the old school way, I do not have time for people who do not know their trade like they should, and that  is why  I chose Jeff to do my master bathroom, and a powder room knowing it would be completed the right way. Everything that needed to be removed was, and he made sure to upgrade specific items to meet the newer codes that apply today. He also repaired much of the damage previous contractors had  done to my floor joist. He is on the job the whole time, and does most of the work himself. He is also the only contractor that I trust with a key to my house. Jeff also does a lot of research on new products and can help to explain what newer options might be available to you.  I have known Jeff close to 15 years now and hired him through a family referral when I purchased my first home. The house I purchased was in need of serious work, and Jeff was very helpful with providing detailed estimates to my mortgage company with whom I was also financing a construction loan with to bring the house up to an acceptable standard. Jeff completely refurbished this house for me by installing all new windows and doors, new kitchen, new master bathroom, new electric service, new deck and a small bathroom on the 2nd floor. He really was very helpful with submitting timely estimates and invoices to my mortgage company as well as pulling the appropriate permits from my township.  I came to realize I did not have worry while Jeff was handling these renovations for me which helped very much with my anxiety level. Jeff also has a great crew of  sub contractors who have worked with him for many years which also helped tremendously in moving my project along.   We had a smaller home that was built in the late 1960s. The basement was very damp due to a high water table. Jeff helped us through converting our basement floor into a floating slab with proper drainage and vapor barriers. Jeff then finished our basement for us creating a laundry room and a small bathroom, and some storage areas as well as a TV area with built ins and play space. The damp basement was now a really nice dry finished area for our whole family. We sold that home years later and purchased another home that was built in the late 1970s, and again we had a damp unfinished basement which Jeff finished for us in the same manor as our first house.  Jeff has completed many projects for us on several of the homes we have purchased over the last 25 years and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor they can depend on.
